I had a last minute need to have a set of documents printed and shipped, with a tight deadline. I found this service, it seemed reasonable to get this done. this was my first time using the site, i was a little lost and under pressure to get things done... but after making the needed adjustments directed by the portal, I uploaded the PDF, made the payment. then i realized i needed to add one more page to the pdf. I deleted the uploaded pdf and replaced it with a new one.
Issues I had with the customer support -
- It takes them 2-3 days to respond to any inquire. so don't be in a rush with this place.
- after 3 days when I thought this was ready to go, I get a note saying the margins were extended too far. Again, more adjustments. uploaded the PDF again.
- had to send another request confirming can they still print and deliver by the date needed
- I get a reply and paid the extra upcharge for faster shipping..
- I get a e-mail 4-5 days later saying it was shipped, the USPS tracking number provided in the portal was inaccurate.
- another contact to support - eventually got a Fed-x tracking number.
- Got my booklets, and IT WAS THE ORIGINAL PDF (the deleted one)... when I contacted support,
- next day, they tried to tell me I requested the last page to be blank... NOPE NOPE NOPE... My downloaded PROOF PDF showed the correct PDF to be printed...
- I replied with the facts i had the proof showing the right PDF, and asked for some kind of correction/compensation. I informed them the website demanded I add extra pages and pay for the blank pages to keep with some sort of required page numbers for the booklet.
- 3 days later, they ignore the facts and said I can have a 5% discount on another order.
You will get what you get with this company. The website is nice, but if you are in a rush, first time, and expect helpful customer support, avoid them as my experience shows they don't care.
My experience with this group has been less than thrilling and they clearly made a mistake: 1) printed a PDF that had been deleted, 2) the site asked for extra pages to be added and paid for, then blamed me for "requesting blank pages" 3) when I informed them my downloaded proof shows the correct print - they ignored this fact and refuse to take responsibility for the error. 4) when they have to deal with a issue on their end, they are slow to reply. 5) When I asked for them to just print the missing page and ship it ( i would use it as a hand out) and just deal with the wrong pdf, i was ignored, 6)when i stated I was not looking for a "free" print and demand a refund, and suggested a reasonable 20% off my next order, they offered 5% and did not offer to ship the missing page.
I understand that if I had been familiar with the site and was not under a deadline, maybe this would have been better, so lesson learned, but the poor support, lack of ownership of their own mistake is cause enough to never use this place.
