I highly recommend purchasing products from anyone other than MLB.com. I purchased an Astros Jersey for my fiancé for Christmas and tried to beat the holiday rush by purchasing it on November 4th. My fiancé loves the jersey but it was a bit small for her liking and I subsequently tried to exchange the jersey for a size larger. I was told that not only does MLB.com not do exchanges, I was out of the 30 day window to return it. In addition, I was told that I could not return the jersey even within the 30 days because it was a "customized" jersey. The explanation behind the jersey being "customized" is that I chose which player name to feature on the back. Not only is the 30 day policy unreasonably short especially during the holidays, the insane notion that a size medium jersey with a popular player being customized is ridiculous. My conversation with customer service consisted of a monotone woman apathetically telling me there was absolutely nothing she could do followed by an equally uncaring manager restating the same information. I suppose the only people that actually support MLB.com are the men happy that my fiancé has a smaller than preferred Jersey.
