I’m so tired of these non USA companies that think they can just come into our market to rip off Americans. I signed up for a trial and immediately encountered problems with a glitchy/slow platform. Tried to cancel the trial right away but the subscription was not on my Apple subscriptions, which made me very confused as I was pretty sure I started the trial using iOs/Apple. It took me some time to figure out that I had to cancel through their website instead, and when I get there I was not able to click cancel because the site was so slow and the window closed as if it crashed down.
I actually thought their trial was 7 days and not 5 (why 5? Is this on purpose?) so when they charge my account, I immediately contact them and request a refund for $59.99 but they flat-out refused it even though I tried to cancel before the charge hit.
This seems to happen to a lot of people based on other reviews.
I obviously disputed the charge with my bank and will be reporting this to my state Attorney General Consumer Protection and the FTC (federal trade commission and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB).
Stay away from this Mob.co.uk app if you value user friendly platforms, easy cancellations and fair refunds.
