Pay well, way too late to pay

Process to send them your old phone very straightforward, they send you a satchel and then it just goes in the post. Furthermore, they did apply an additional value coupon to my order without me asking.However, from there, the process is slow and riddled with no communication.Website trumpets 'fast and prompt processing' and money in 3-5 business days. It took 2 phone calls (I couldn't get through and got a calls and texts back on a burner phone), an email to support and 9 business days to receive my payment. If you're not able to make your quoted day range of payment, you need to be better at managing expectations through your 'unprecedented volumes', which sounds like a thinly veiled attempt to cover up the fact you're claiming to offer a prompt service you cannot provide. Considering the value of the items you expect customers to blindly hand over, it's not really good enough.
