I did a Google search for wooden linear pendant light fixture. Mod lighting, brought up the Luka fixture and offered it in oak and Ash I believe. I selected Oak. Specifications clearly delineated that the product was made out of wood, aluminum, and a Specifications clearly delineated that the product was made out of wood, aluminum, and acrylic.Imagine my surprise when it arrived as cheap sheet metal that didn’t weigh a pound. Not at all the substantial Fixture I was looking for. When I tried to return it, they told me that even though they were in New York company and did not let anyone know they were from China. I would have to ship it back to China at a cost of $120. I told them that I needed a US address to return it at which point they told me I could not return it at all because they had made a custom adjustment to the canopy of the fixture. Buyer beware of two things;Number one even though they advertise as a wood fixture it is just a wood colored paint over metalNumber two, even though they purport to be an American company,fixtures ship direct from China and are extremely expensive to return.To their credit, I noticed MOD lighting, has now revise their specifications, so that it no longer says the fixture is made of wood.
