Working with David was a plus; I would definitely recommend working with him; he was always available. The resort was great but I was not fond of the lack of availability of what the resort provided; yes, it was the off season, but the price was not; lack of food/restaurant choices; also the constant solicitation got to be unbearable; also, the deposit upon arrival to the hotel was a surprise, especially after all the money spent for the vacation. Very grateful for the transportation but there needs to be a better system in place between Amstar and the drivers; one guy just came and grabbed my bags and an Amstar employee had to confront the guy to let go of my luggage; I had never been to Jamaica, so I had no clue what to expect. The Amstar drivers need distinctive shirts also. The Mobay experience was giving everything it needed to give. Overall, the resort was ok, for the money, should of been a lot better. The customer service was good, even though I did not see my personal concierge for 2 days.
