Wasn’t until I got the product that I noticed the size of the lick and stick. The pictures with the lady advertised with it on is very very misleading. The picture shows the tattoo almost covering her chest end to end. This thing would barely cover one under boob. Probably not gonna order anything again
The long lasting temporary tattoos are great. I wish they had bigger sizes though. The pictures are misleading so make sure to measure on yourself. It did take 36 hours for the ink to be dark enough and they do warn you it takes 24-48 hours.
I purchased 9 semi perm tattoos from them. They all have different consistencies and colors. Some are still unbelievably sticky two days later. Some are so faint you can barely see them. Most of them feel like they should have come from a 50 cent toy dispenser for kids. They are just a sticky film that peels off in the shower. Only one of the semi perm tattoos actually is what I expected, the wolf tattoo looks good, isn’t sticky and actually is dark enough to see. My order was $137 and I’m extremely disappointed with 8/9 of my tattoos from Momentary Ink.
Much smaller than I anticipated, especially for the money. The website lists the size as 4 in by 7 in, but that is the card that the tattoo comes on. The actual tattoo is much smaller, only about 2 in by 7 in. Definitely not a good enough size to be called a half sleeve as they have listed.
I started off really hopeful for these semi permanent tattoos, but I've been disappointed three times now. First time I tried it on, the tattoo didn't transfer to my skin. I don't know what I did or didn't do, but it just didn't work.Second time, a couple weeks later, it transfered, but then I tried their "helpful tip" to put plastic wrap on it at night so it wouldn't transfer to my sheets. The tattoo was fully dried, had been on for two hours, and looked fine. But when I tried to take it off in the morning, it peeled off onto the plastic wrap. So no tattoo left on my arm, just on the plastic wrap.Third time, again a couple weeks later, I tried it the paper wrinkled while I was wetting it, and completely screwed up the design. I didn't even notice until I slid the paper off and it left wadded masses of the tattoo on my arm. It left wads on the paper as well. I kept the paper and my arm as neat as I could, but it folded under the wet cloth, so there wasn't anything I could have done. For tattoos that cost over $25 each I would have expected higher quality that didn't screw up at every point during application. Extremely disappointing, frustrating, and a waste of money.
Pros and Cons. Pros- The custom tattoo was great for getting an idea of what size and location I might want a real one. This is a fantastic way to "try it before you buy it". I bought a couple different sizes and put them in different locations. The original, I was VERY glad was not permanent. The second, I will do again in a different spot to see how I like it. I will probably do it 3-4 times before making it permanent. Cons-They don't last long. It was sticky and didn't always last a full day. I didn't receive the real teal so maybe that makes a difference? I expected them to last quite a bit longer. They don't look real for a while because they shine too much and then they peel off from being sticky and rubbed. Overall- glad I purchased them despite the fact they didn't live up to expectations. I was able to better narrow down what size I wanted permanently.
