I made multiple calls, left messages, and received no callbacks, despite being told someone would contact me. When you’re dealing with held funds and an abruptly closed account, silence is not acceptable.To make matters worse, documentation was requested that I had already provided, suggesting poor internal communication or lack of proper review. The entire process felt disorganized, dismissive, and one-sided.Small businesses rely on transparency and timely communication. Moneris failed on both. Decisions appear to be made arbitrarily, with no regard for the impact on merchants, and with zero accountability afterward.I would strongly caution other small business owners to think twice before choosing Moneris. If something goes wrong, don’t expect clarity, responsiveness, or support.
