I want to warn everyone thinking about opening a Monese account or who already has one: DON'T DO IT. After 6 years with no issues, they suddenly blocked my account without any prior email or notice. When I asked why, I never got a response. Only after I threatened to get a lawyer did they tell me they're closing my account—with no explanation of how they'll return my money. They just said to contact support, which has only ever sent me generic emails no matter what I ask. People, stay far away if you want to keep your money!
