I ordered £78 worth of sweets, which were delivered fine (not next day as paid for, but considering the holiday period, it was acceptable). However, two items from the clearance section had issues. A 3kg bag of chews was leaked and stuck together, and another bag had a terrible smell, like stale cigarettes, with an expiration date of March 2025 (I wouldn't have ordered with such a long shelf life). I inquired about returning these and was told no due to clearance status. I believe the seller has an obligation to ensure items are at least edible, which these were not. Very disappointed in their response. The sweets are decent otherwise, but I won't be ordering again. They should inform customers about expiration dates on clearance items.
