This beggars belief!After a fault was diagnosed by the moble Audi Assist technician approx one week ago my car was booked into (Mon Motors) Bath Audi for tomorrow 2 December at 1000Diagnosis Lambda sensor fault or similar.I had informed the service rep on the telephone to Bristol of the diagnosis by Audi Assist and that I need my car for a long journey on Wednesday 03rd. As Bristol (where I live, an where I bought the car) was not available I accepted Bath Audi.Today I am astonished to receice a call from Bath to confirm the appointment, but when I adked if it could be done by lunchtime telling me that:1 -the appointment is to repeat diagnosis, and may not he done on the day, let alone the morning!!!2 -the part may not be in stock3 -may take longer that the day to even get warranty authorisation from Audi UK.I BOUGHT THE CAR FROM THEM AS AN APPROVED USED AUDI, IT'S STILL UNDER WARRANTY, AND THEY SERVICED IT ONE MONTH AGO.So Bath Audi, I have reluctantIy cancelled tomorrow's visit. Perhaps someone can answer the question "If it is indeed so difficult at Bath Audi in three ways (ie technically, parts provision, and warranty admin), why was I not told when I booked in the car?I might add that when I bought the car (from them) I was told that an Audi Approved warranty would come with a "thrill and reassuring peace of mind". That's marketing fir yiu. I am rarely lost for words!I have just run this past 2 neighbours, one works for Lexus and another for Mercedes.They first one said, come and see us when your changing, the second just laughed!
