Avoid This Brand – Unacceptable Customer Service

I just experienced the worst online shopping situation with a certain brand and feel compelled to warn others. I ordered a dress that looked beautiful online, but when it arrived in the U.S., I was hit with an exorbitant import tax. I chose not to accept the package, which is standard, but they insisted I still pay the tax even though I never received it. They also wanted to deduct return shipping and handling fees from my refund. I asked for clarification, but they directed me to contact customs myself. What kind of brand expects customers to handle customs issues? I explained my refusal due to the unreasonable tax and that the package would be returned anyway, yet they continued to insist on charging me. I feel like buying from them is akin to being scammed. No legitimate brand treats returns this way. Despite how beautiful their dresses appear, it's simply not worth it. Terrible policies and communication, and you risk losing money without receiving your order. Save yourself the trouble and choose a brand that respects its customers.
