As you can read for yourselves, they are just repeating in their response the same as they said before and are making no attempt at collecting the parcel by alternate means with the original plan having just cost us money.
And along with this, they offer a very small discount for a marked item as if I would accept that or send the item back and go elsewhere.
You can read for yourselves that they are not an honourable company to buy from.

I bought a soup-maker and which is well-designed in terms of appearance and functionality, while the safety aspect requires attention as the blade can be completely removed due to being attached to the lid.
The appliance's condition upon delivery was less than perfect and so wishing for a replacement made contact with their customer-service department and was given instructions to take the appliance to one of various collection-points but which are either out-of-service or too far away.
Not finding a viable location, and having spent ten-pounds on petrol, I got in touch with them once again via email only to be met this time with a refusal to sort out our situation by different means.
One would think that established brands would also fork out on departments which can suitably handle customer-queries in such a way that denotes a reasonable attitude to all things customer-satisfaction but apparently not and we are left in the meantime with a product-return which cannot be replaced without spending even more money on locating active drop-off points.
