In July 2024, I bought a 2013 Honda Civic for £6,480. One month later, the engine light came on. Motonet said only the engine & gearbox were covered and asked me to pay £500 for exhaust repairs.Later, the oil level kept dropping. I then found the exhaust had been blocked to hide smoke, showing the engine had oil-burning issues from the start. Motonet refused responsibility and told me to deal with the warranty company.Before sale: polite and helpful.After sale: no support.The car is now worth under £800.⚠️ Also note: their “12-month engine warranty” only covers up to £250.Based on my experience, I do NOT recommend buying from Motonet.
