HORRIBLE experience MOVENPICK AMSTERDAM CENTER. To begin with, as soon as I made my reservation and paid 100% of the amount, the Movenpick hotel sent me an email demanding proof of payment, even though the payment had already been confirmed, under penalty of the reservation being canceled, embarrassing me and bringing big frustrations, saying that my payment would be investigated. Just here already made my experience BAD. Afterwards, I asked for a complimentary room upgrade as I am a Gold or AllAccor member, where they promise that I will get a room upgrade without paying anything and more and to my surprise they send me an email charging me more money so I can have a room upgrade. In other words, false advertising. And if all that wasn't enough, I went with my family to have the free welcome drink at the hotel and after consuming it, a blonde employee from the bar comes screaming in the middle of the room, coming to charge us money for the drink, and the welcome drink it is free. In addition to the fact that such an expensive hotel doesn't even have Netflix on TV, I have to watch programs in a language I don't understand. Terrible! Movenpick never again and probably no AllAccor hotel ever again. Think carefully before closing with these hotels.
