Main problem was that it was difficult to get in contact with the hotel. I booked on the official webpage, but never received a confirmation. Not sure whether I was in the system I called (no one ever picked up the phone - not once) and wrote in total three emails, but days went by with no answer. It was really stressfull not knowing wether I had booked and payed for a room or possibly would be standing without accommodation. Arriving at the hotel, I was rather dissappoited. The staff was friendly, but the room was small, filthy (not unclean, just the old filth you cannot get off) and not up to date. We had a fine stay, but not at all what I expect when I book four stars hotel. The breakfast was okay, I missed nothing, but again: over priced. I will not be recommending my friends to stay at Möwenpick Hotel Hamburg.
