I was recommended by a friend who sang MHME's praises. I agreed to a home visit. All went very well. I was clear on the plan.Jason and his colleague (Jambo) were great on the day, really friendly and lovely. I cannot fault them as individuals.The protective sheeting Alan advised (at initial visit) would be applied was not, that's fine, no damage was done to my new home, so I can look past that. However, when mishaps do occur I would always expect things to be put right...My £500+ Samsung curve TV was destroyed (images provided to MHME immediately after). Damage happens in transit, I acknowledge that, despite precautions taken.I was very disappointed in MHME when I advised of this, Lauren stated they would give me £40 compensation for my TV as I had not selected additional insurances premiums on top of my home move that cost £718.80 for approx. 3 hours of work moving a small 2 bed flat I had already packed.It's only now, following the stress of moving home that I feel I am now able to challenge this and review.Apply caution and check the small print when dealing with MHME. It's disappointing that a positive recommendation from a friend has to end in a review such as this for a company that promotes itself on quality of care to justify its price point.
