We had a really excellent experience with this removal company from start to finish, and I would happily recommend them.
We booked both packing and moving services. On the first day, two men arrived promptly at 8:30am to do the packing, and they were both so friendly, lovely, and a pleasure to have in the house. They were incredibly helpful, communicative, and efficient, and packed everything up amazingly quickly — they were done by around lunchtime. We do have a small house, but I was still impressed by how fast and carefully they worked. They wrapped fragile items properly, brought hanging wardrobe boxes for clothes, and were really thoughtful about checking what we wanted packed and what we might still need left out. That kind of communication made the whole process much less stressful. They were also kind enough to help my partner carry some extra items downstairs that were going to the tip.
On moving day, they were again there promptly at 8:30am. One of the packers returned, along with James and another team member, and they got started loading the truck straight away. They worked so efficiently that I think they were finished loading by around 12pm. They dismantled furniture, including the bed.
What really stood out was how helpful they were beyond what we had even agreed. They moved all of our potted plants, even though that hadn’t been discussed beforehand, simply because they had space in the van. One team member in particular, Alex, went out of his way to help me save one of my trees that nobody else thought was worth keeping — he carefully wrapped it in blankets so it wouldn’t make the van muddy, and I really appreciated that.
They also kept checking in with us during the day while we were waiting for the keys, which was incredibly reassuring. I’d definitely recommend the late key waiver — we ended up needing it, and it made a big difference.
Once we got to the new house, they unpacked everything, put boxes in the correct rooms, checked where we wanted items placed, reassembled the furniture they had dismantled, and even rehung our clothes in the wardrobes. Everyone was friendly, professional, and helpful throughout.
On top of that, Lauren was great when I was booking everything — very responsive, and the whole process through the website, from getting a quote to arranging the move, was easy and straightforward.
Overall, I really can’t complain about anything. A genuinely excellent service from start to finish.

Great help from start to finish, Lauren was extremely helpful with awkward questions and rescheduling of moving. Then the move itself was so quick and efficient, much thanks to Alex and James for their help and professionalism. Couldn't have gone more smoothly would recommend to anyone!
Guys truned up on time, were super polite, helpful and careful with all my things. Started at 8:30am, finished at 11: 30, got to the new place started unpacking around 12:45, and all was complete by 14:00, guys done a wonderful job, by far the easiest part of the whole move, cant thank them enough!!
I was recommended by a friend who sang MHME's praises. I agreed to a home visit. All went very well. I was clear on the plan.Jason and his colleague (Jambo) were great on the day, really friendly and lovely. I cannot fault them as individuals.The protective sheeting Alan advised (at initial visit) would be applied was not, that's fine, no damage was done to my new home, so I can look past that. However, when mishaps do occur I would always expect things to be put right...My £500+ Samsung curve TV was destroyed (images provided to MHME immediately after). Damage happens in transit, I acknowledge that, despite precautions taken.I was very disappointed in MHME when I advised of this, Lauren stated they would give me £40 compensation for my TV as I had not selected additional insurances premiums on top of my home move that cost £718.80 for approx. 3 hours of work moving a small 2 bed flat I had already packed.It's only now, following the stress of moving home that I feel I am now able to challenge this and review.Apply caution and check the small print when dealing with MHME. It's disappointing that a positive recommendation from a friend has to end in a review such as this for a company that promotes itself on quality of care to justify its price point.
Found ways to charge us extra. Guys on the day were brilliant, but we got held to ransome for delays ..it was only £90 but its the principle , and I thought I'd paid £2500 hansomly enough already for the move, including extra,... for possible delays !! . They sent the wrong sized wagon for the move ,which I expressley told them not to, when they surveyed the job, , so the delays were all theirs, not ours , as it took ages to get it near our house.. office just kept saying it was my fault and wouldnt listen when I complained about extra fees .. and didn't always answer phones either before we moved, which didnt inspire confidence at all. Frankly I'm not impressed despite all the superlatives quoted you see written. It was an easy move for them too as we had everything ready. They got the job done and thanks for that but, I wouldnt use these guys again
MHME were fantastic from start to finish. Getting a quote was really easy, I chose to video and submit online. Lauren was very responsive, made recommendations on my move and was spot on with her suggestions. Price was competitive. I moved out, stored, moved in. I dealt with James and his team on the move. Excellent communication, great problem solvers, and importantly every team member took excellent care with my items and the properties. Great team, great people, great communication, great price. Highly recommend.
Thanks to James and team. They took all the stress of moving day away. Nothing was too much for them, they worked so hard and you felt like you could trust them 100%. Would not consider using anyone else if we were to move again. Would recommend them to everyone. Book these guys and you'll not regret it!
From start to finish the service was first class. We had to change moving dates at very short notice and new removal date was found. The guys doing the removal were fantastic Alex and his team very professional, and polite at all times. Would definitely recommend. 10/10
