Beware! I chose them because of consistently excellent reviews, but I advise you to read the small print in the contract, rather than going by what they say. They advised me to not transport my guitar by car. Why? because they said they ‘were insured.’ My guitar came out of their van broken inside its case, as if the case had fallen from a height. Turns out that according to the small print it was NOT INSURED. There ends the first part of the story. But they made it worse. They and their insurers dismissed my claim. They said the guitar must have been ‘already damaged’ (?). Over a period of months they argued with me over the claim. AS IF I WAS insured. They allowed me to argue the claim with themselves, with their insurance company, with the Insurance Ombudsman and with The insurance Regulator. During this time they offered me inadequate compensation from the company itself. I refused this as I was sure my claim was supported by the facts of the circumstances. Only at the end of this period of months I was told my guitar had NEVER been insured…….because it was myself and not they who had put it in its case before it went into the van!!!! This condition was indeed in the small print which I had not read. I had naively taken them at their word.,…..at a cost of over eight hundred pounds.
