I submitted a "as new" Sony 300 f2.8 GM lens and received the offer. Mailed the lens with the Sony filter insert and Zemlin aftermarket lens hood and lens cap. I know MBP's policy on 3rd party equipment but decided to send all the gear with the lens as i had no further use and they enhance the safety and use of the lens. E-mail arrived notifying me of a reduced bid due to the Sony lens cap not being included. I chatted on the website trying to explain that this lens does not have a lens cap included, the soft cover is the cap, hence the use of the Zemlin items. There was no agreement so I asked that the transaction be cancelled and the lens and all equipment be returned. it arrived today. No sony filter insert, and no Zemlin lens hood! The Zemlin lens cap is fitted with the Sony lens hood attached, (this item had been wrapped separately with the soft cover and filter insert). My Transactions page on MPB has a picture of the item with the Zemlin hood clearly attached. Over to you MPB. I would advise sellers to photograph the equipment they are shipping to MPB. I've purchased and sold many items on MPB, doubt there will more in the future after this troubling transaction. After taking a breath and taking time I do not think this is the lens I sent to MPB, the Zemlin hood attachment ring is missing. Feels like someone put the lens cap on and called it good. Very unhappy longtime customer awaits an update
