I have been a customer of MRP for over 8 years. This January I under paid my account. I understand this is my fault, but my case was referred to attorneys the month after. No phone call, no email. I short paid an R7000 account by R170.So, I paid up and feeling very disgruntled. I requested an account closer. This process is unlawful I feel. How can you deny a customer to close their account. The customer service agent closed my case by asking me to pay in full and check my statement. But this is what I did, now I must wait for the next month's statement? So, I did. I paid again, because there is like 6 deductions for this cover and that cover for debt insurance and theft insurance. No, My account is in credit and guess what. They refuse still. They will rather me use my credit. Mr. Price, I will not spend another sent on this company in my life if I could help it.For 8 years and all I get is an SMS informing me my debt was handed to lawyers. For less than R200. Your "very helpful" customer care could have just reached out.And now that I want to leave, I am denied this.
