The cruise was great for food, entertainment and itinerary. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the shows were spectacular. We were upgraded to a balcony cabin and it was really comfortable, spacious and clean.
Please be aware that during Ramadan if you are taking a cruise around the Arabian Gulf some pre booked excursions may be cut short and MSC will not pre notify you if this. Specifically Ferrari World will close at 5pm meaning you won't get enough time to fully enjoy. Ferrari Rosso queue was nearly a 3 hour wait which meant it was the only ride we went on due to the resort closing early.
Excursion staff are not very helpful when if complain about trips and point the blame towards guests.
A great Northern European cities cruise and the drinks Premier extra package was fantastic food was good but could be cold on occasion not what you want when you’ve got a full English booked breakfast and it’s stone cold

Cruised along the UAE coast. Ship only two years old was outstanding. Staff were always friendly and helpful, nothing was to much trouble. Food was always of a high standard. Ship was packed but we could always find a space when we needed to. Everybody seemed happy and relaxed. Great itinerary, good mix of entertainment. Would defiantly recommend.
We recently enjoyed a holiday on the MSC Poesia. It was our first cruise and definitely wont be our last. What a lasting impression it has left on us. From the excellent entertainment, to the wonderful food and the faultless staff (in particular a lovely woman called Singmilla who we will remember fondly), the whole boat was spotless and the staff were very hard working but always stopped for a chat. We couldn’t recommend MSC cruises enough. See you again soon!
Even though the ship is older, its intimate vibe truly enriched the experience. Being just a short stroll away from dining, entertainment, bars, and shops made everything accessible and eliminated the long walks we've experienced in the past. It never felt crowded, yet there were always enjoyable spots to relax. The quieter areas were pleasant, and while the gym was compact, it offered sufficient space for a complete workout.
Our recent cruise on the MSC Musica in the Canaries marked our second experience with this cruise line, following a disappointing first trip. This second opportunity was crucial for us to determine if we would continue with this provider. Thankfully, this time was a success, and we are now inclined to use their services in the future. We found that the fixed dining time didn’t suit us, so opting for the Aurea stateroom was a wise choice. Overall, the entertainment was enjoyable, the food was satisfactory, and the staff were exceptional. We are now excited for our upcoming trip on the Magnifica from Copenhagen in June.
This being our first cruise, everything was fabulous and memorable. The food was delightful, available whenever we wanted to eat. The staff and waiters were incredibly friendly, especially those from the Philippines. Our waiters during the A La Carte dinner were exceptional, providing splendid service with an extra touch for every course.
The food was enjoyable, but the guest services were chaotic. Make sure to arrange things like drink packages and WiFi before boarding, as they will charge you double once you're on board. They also impose fees for name change mistakes and seem to find any opportunity to charge extra. Not recommended.
Overall, the cruise experience was great, but we encountered a problem with the cabin assigned to us; it featured a bunk bed instead of a sofa bed. The support team was not very helpful in addressing this issue, only suggesting an alternative cabin with a sofa bed for an additional £400. Additionally, be cautious when ordering drinks, as a 15% service charge is automatically included. The entertainment was outstanding, and the food was satisfactory. The excursions were enjoyable but pricey; if you're adventurous, consider taking the shuttle bus and exploring on your own for a significantly lower cost.
