The transfer prices were similarly inflated. The packing list included many non-clothing items like personal first aid kits and water purification supplies, making me question what I’m actually paying for. Clean water should be a basic provision from tour guides. Their website suggests generous tipping for guides, but for what? For price gouging and a long list of amenities that won’t be provided?
