Avoid any Mutual of Omaha Insurance Policy. It was offered for the first time by my company and I elected it thinking it was a good idea. Save your money and do not buy their garbage Hospital Indemnity policy. They sell this coverage claiming it protects you for pregnancy and childbirth, but it's totally deceptive. If you get pregnant before the January 1st start date, they hit you with a 'pre-existing condition' excuse and refuse to pay out a dime. It is a terrible policy from a company that will look for any excuse not to pay. Don't bother giving them your business.
