If I could give them no stars, I would. I had a slip and fall, and I’m off work and was given short-term disability with a possible settlement coming up they refuse to give me any more of my short-term disability once they found out about it. What am I paying for there may or may not be a settlement it’s only a possibility yet they decided to stop a little bit of money that they were giving me. My representative was.Leilani who was one of the worst at her job she lied and was told by an attorney she’s lying now I’m only allowed to contact them through email. Nobody, including their managers will speak to me. This company is a joke and I would look for other places if I was you. .

The company replied to my feedback, but I received the same vague response: Your feedback is important, and we’re looking into it to make improvements. Please contact our customer care team at 1-800-775-6000 Monday through Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Fridays, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., or email customer care so we can assist you directly. This is ridiculous! If you look at all the replies to negative reviews, it's always the same. They just want you to contact customer care. This service is appalling! If they truly cared, they could easily find your details, review your case, and call you directly, but they don’t seem to care at all. They have your money, and that’s what matters to them. My mother lost $14,000 due to their lack of response. I will share my negative experience with everyone I encounter and advise them to steer clear of this company!

Terrible experience with claim process

I had a dreadful experience trying to obtain payment for a claim. The representative intentionally played phone tag, misled my doctor regarding the scheduling of a peer-to-peer review, and falsely claimed they couldn't reach him, all while trying to deny my claim before the 10-day period was up.

Response from the company was frustrating

The company's reply to my feedback was just more of the same: 'Your feedback is important, and we're looking into it.' They suggest contacting their customer care team, but this feels like a joke! Every negative review gets a similar response. If they genuinely cared, they could easily review my case and reach out personally, but it seems they only care about keeping my money. My mother lost $14,000 due to their lack of response. I will warn everyone I know to steer clear of this company!

My wife made a single claim with this service for short-term rental in 12 years, and it was the most absurd and convoluted process we've ever faced. Every step felt like a struggle, and communication was virtually nonexistent. She switched jobs for better benefits. Dealing with this company is a waste of time; find a trustworthy alternative.

Claim denial feels unjust

They have provided every excuse imaginable, ignored certified letters, and made unreasonable demands for reinstatement. Insurance cancellation over discrepancies

After paying for a critical illness policy and life insurance for a few years, I was diagnosed with cancer and filed a claim. They claimed I lied about my weight and a vein disorder from my application. Ironically, a specialist found no issues with my veins. They dug through years of records but couldn't verify my diagnosis, yet they canceled my policy. I regret dealing with this company; they seem determined to avoid paying claims.
