I've always enjoyed staying fit and it was no different during pregnancy (my first)-I continued eating healthily and working out throughout. Despite that, after a C-section I found my body and mind unrecognizable. Weak, lacking energy, with a fair diastasis recti and lower back pain, preventing me from fully enjoying these first few weeks of motherhood. Chatting to friends-fellow mums-kept me going and one of them suggested physiotherapy. After completing the programme I feel so much better about myself, more in control of my own body, more energetic and positive. My back doesn't hurt and my tummy is much flatter, I don't lose my breath when climbing stairs. My diastasis needs a bit more time to fully heal so I'm continuing with the programme-week 15 now:) I definitely recommend MUTU to all new mums, as difficult as it sometimes can be to find the time and energy to exercise, try your best, it's worth it. When you're happier your baby will be as well!
