I took an IQ test, which was advertised as free, just to find out I have to pay to get my results. Since I’ve wasted a lot of my precious time taking the test and it was only £1 and PayPal was accepted, I grudgingly paid! A week later I got a notification that this website took £30 from my account through PayPal! I found out that paying that £1, when taking the test, I was automatically enrolled into a subscription for £30 per month! It was a complicated process but I managed to cancel the subscription to prevent future charges (don’t even know what the subscription was for. To take £30 IQ tests per month?) I got a confirmation via email that my subscription has been cancelled but I contacted PayPal to make them aware. PayPal informed me that the subscription is still live and I would get charged again next month, even though I got that email, clearly a fraud! They were extremely helpful at PayPal, they cancelled the subscription for me and managed to get a refund for me as well! Avoid like the plague!!!!
