Extremely disappointed with my experience using My Auto Shop, I genuinely feel like I have been scammed after a pre-inspection check for a newly imported hybrid car. Paid extra for the hybrid battery check, only to find that it was missing from my inspection result. Only after enquiring about it, did they tell me that they cannot do hybrid battery checks on Nissan hybrids and offered to refund the money for the extra cost of the hybrid battery check.That left me in a position where I had to find another provider to do the pre-inspection check and pay for it all over again - just to check the hybrid battery. Had they told me this from the beginning, I would've enquired elsewhere. For them to not mention anything until after the fact is questionable as well, as they would've known this from the booking form, yet went ahead anyway.After finding another inspector, it turns out that some things on my report were incorrect such as alternators being falsely checked as having passed the test (despite the car not even having an alternator), some results had different values (copy and pasted report?), as well as something as basic as not realising that one of the keys isn't working.In the end, it would've cost me more money than had I found someone who could do the job I paid and enquired for initially.This is only something that was detected because they couldn't do Nissan's, otherwise, I would've been none-the-wiser.
