I ordered two backpacks from Backvac. One arrived fine, but the black backpack arrived in damaged packaging with a large slit through the bag that clearly cut into the product.
I immediately contacted customer service the same day and provided multiple photos showing the damage. The packaging was extremely thin for such an expensive item and provided very little protection.
Instead of helping resolve the issue or offering an exchange, their support team told me the package was delivered in “perfect condition” and sent a FedEx proof-of-delivery photo as their justification.
The problem is that the FedEx photo only shows one side of the package. The side that happened to be intact. The other side has a large slit cut through it, which I clearly documented with photos and video. The bag has never come out of its packaging.
It’s extremely disappointing to be treated as if I’m being dishonest when I provided clear evidence of the damage. Shipping carriers make mistakes, and packages get damaged during transit…this is not unusual. What is unusual is a company refusing to stand behind their product or work with a customer to resolve the situation.
For the price of these backpacks, I expected much better packaging and much better customer service. All I wanted was to exchange the damaged product.
Unfortunately, based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company
