Warning: I lost £1800. I found a website online and requested a callback. A representative contacted me and connected me with another individual who suggested a barrister. After paying £1800, I was told there would be an additional £3700 + VAT. I could not afford it, and earlier conversations indicated it wouldn't cost much more than that. After I declined, the barrister offered to do it for £350 + VAT or whatever I could afford, which raised a red flag for me, and I realized I had been scammed. Communication was poor, and when I reached out for assistance, I was told they do not handle payment disputes.
