I was looking to get a bird companion for my mother and went through the checkout process. When I clicked 'add credit card', the order was placed immediately, without the usual review step. I later realized that the company had added a premium subscription for $100, a $25 shipping fee, and a $20 gift wrap option to my order without my consent. I requested to cancel the order, and noticed that my credit card information was saved on the site. When I tried to delete my card, I was informed I couldn't because it was linked to a subscription I didn't knowingly sign up for. They refused to remove my credit card details. A few days later, I received an update about my order. Despite my cancellation request, they did not cancel it. They removed the gift wrap and subscription, but are still sending me a bird companion I don’t want and charging for shipping. I am extremely frustrated with their service.
