However, clients can shortlist up to 10 individuals for each job, and they often do, which means that at least 9 out of those 10 will lose their £60 with nothing to show for it. It's a complete scam that could drive good professionals out of business if it becomes the standard method for securing jobs. It feels like a monopoly on the market, charging for a service that shouldn't even exist. I urge everyone to continue using notice boards, recommending tradespeople to friends, and utilizing social media for connections. £60 represents a significant portion of our daily earnings, even if we manage to land the job, which has only a 10% chance of happening. It's a total rip-off.
