The MyBuilder app is a scam seems like they have bots mixed in with legitimate people I’m been charged £61 to get phone numbers that lead to nothing the problem is everyone gets shortlisted every time 6 interested 6 shortlisted 6 get charged when only one person can gets the job my builder needs to put something in place to fix this issue tbh I feel like I’m gambling within 1 day I’ve been charged £61 and didn’t even get one job I’ve even tested this by being the cheapest offer and still didn’t get the job
I understand that the cheapest don’t always get the job but I was a very simple job a toilet seat change and a bit of mastic around the bath I offered to do it for £30 even though my builder was charging me £11 for the contact info I was set to make £19 I did this for a test it got 5 interest and 5 shortlisted and all 5 of us was charged make it make sense
So then I thought let’s pretend to be the client and post a fake job I didn’t shortlist anyone but it had a good amount of interest do you see where I’m heading and you can do this allll day long as I did it 3 times *for test purposes* I would honestly rate this 0 stars the idea is good but you’re hear for a cash grab
I even ask kindly not to shortlist me for a job unless you want me to do the job in the message was price breakdown and material as much information as I could give still they shortlist everyone then the job disappear makes no sense I would have have better odds putting my money on a casino slot machine
Also to mention I contacted a “client” with the number that was provided the number was fake I messaged them to say the my text and calls aren’t doing through and lo and behold the person vanished
