We booked through a platform with a nonrefundable fee, but later discovered a deposit was requested outside of the platform. Upon arrival, the apartment had issues, and we had to seek alternative accommodations. They later wrongfully withheld our deposit and attempted additional charges. I advise against making any payments outside the platform and recommend reporting their behavior.
