I was a Dish Network user for 12+ years. I became dissatisfied on 6/14/23 after numerous attempts to get my service back working and the issue has not been resolved to date. My first service call was on 5/28/23- I also have insurance with them for service problems. Exactly 4-5 calls later during a period of 2 weeks with on and off service a representative was scheduled to arrive on 6/13/23 ( this was the 4th representative to come out- however, this one DID NOT SHOW or did not call). I have literally spent hours on the phone with them doing all the things they request you do before they will send a representative out and my husband has spent hours coming home from work early to meet someone to work on our service! In total frustration I called today to cancel my service due to dissatisfaction with my service and I was advised not only would I not get any type refund because of no service for approx 14 days but I would also have to pay a termination fee of 280.00 dollars. The termination fee is because I had a new receiver that had to be replaced. I would gladly send it back but this did not matter. The new receiver only worked a total of 3-4 days. This is astounding. DISH NETWORK HAS NO CONCERN FOR THEIR LOYAL CUSTOMERS MUCH LESS NEW ONES- BEWARE!
