I ordered Dish Network satellite services, seeking a better value than cable tv. The first question I asked the representative was, “Can I get local sports channels with Dish tv services?” The answer that the representative gave me was YES. However, it turns out that Dish doesn’t even offer regional sports at all. This is clearly a breach of contract. When I called to get the services canceled, I was told that I would have to pay $480 cancellation fee. I tried to explain to Josh that I thought that it was unfair that I pay that amount since their services was misrepresented to me. To prove it, Dish advises that they record every call when customers order their services. I asked Jordan at x1112064 to review the recording, and he stated that they do not do that! What’s the purpose of the recording then? I would like Dish to reconsider charging me the $480 as they misrepresented their services that caused me to go with them in the first place.
