The professors were great - they'd explain the concepts but avoid getting too deep into the mathematics while still providing enough material and pointers for people like me, who want to delve deeper into the maths.
The weekend mentor prepared very thorough presentations with case studies and practical hands-on coding examples. In fact these were the only mandatory part of the course and hence were designed to be self-sufficient.
The assignments were very well scoped and pertinent to the lessons.
