As a background, I did my Engineering in Computer Technology in year 1991. I joined PG -AI/ML BA certification from McCombs school starting Nov 2025, in the process of certification i am getting into the rigor of structured learning after almost a break of 35 years from academics. My objective is to get myself acquainted with the Mathematics , Science and Technological advancements and understand each of those in light of me having difference in learning that i have compared to other learners. In light of these parameters, i would like to rate my experience a 5 star experience and details for those are enumerated and described below :
1) Very simple, easy and structured learning : The platform provided sufficiently goes from the basics to advanced learning.
2) In depth palatable short lectures and the reinforcing the concepts by well designed test quizzes.
3) Able to contrast the mathematics which has evolved in past 100 years and to superimpose and understand how the technological advancement are getting it abstracted to higher levels.
4) Choices of platforms - Python, co-lab , google drive and the understanding of those.
5) The mentored sessions conducted by Industry experts.
6) The Osmotic learning with the cohort.
7) and the great support from program manager from Great Learning, who is always available to encourage and address my worries and finding innovative ways , where ever i require help. Couple of examples which i would like to mention here are
a) She addressed "difference of learning " and encouraged me with TIPs during the first few Quizes which i was not able to do too well.
b) During my unavoidable vacation period she helped with alternate solutions for me to excel.
I would highly recommend (i have recommended to friends ) this course to anyone who wants to pursue a better understanding OR want to grow further expertise in the area of data analytics, product management or business analysis and personally i feel this is a Industry agnostic program and shall be considered.
