I had a very concerning experience with MyTenNights. I originally made donations through the platform starting in 2019. However, in February 2026, money was taken from my account automatically without my consent and without any confirmation email.I had not signed up for any new recurring payment, so this was extremely worrying. When I looked further into the company records, I discovered that the original company had previously filed dormant accounts, meaning it was not supposed to be actively trading during that period. I also found that the company had later been dissolved and another company appears to have been set up afterwards.This raises serious concerns about transparency and how donor payment details are being handled. I have now contacted my credit card provider to cancel all recurring transactions and dispute the payment.If you have donated through this platform before, I would strongly advise checking your bank statements carefully.
