I recently booked two tickets for the Alhambra, Spain through mytoptour.es. When we arrived at Alhambra at the booked time, we were told that we did not have a valid ticket and that we had paid more than double of what a regular ticket costs if you purchase it directly from the Alhambra.After booking, I received no less than 8 emails from MyTopTour, none of which contained the actual tickets. Only a QR code that appeared to be the ticket, but it was not accepted as entry for the Alhambra upon arrival. Therefore, we had to contact MyTopTour on WhatsApp and wait for the ticket to be sent without knowing if someone would be in the other end to actually send the tickets. Thanks to really helpful service and advice from the Alhambra team, we ended up getting our tickets after a 15 minute wait.I reached out to mytoptour.es after the visit and explained that I am dissatisfied with having paid more than double the amount of a regular ticket and still have entrance issues at the location, and I also asked for a refund. The answer from MyTopTour was that it is an external company with different prices and that the price difference is also due to the fact that we had to pay an additional price for the audio guides. In other words: They were unwilling to pay a refund. The very large price difference is not something I was informed about on their website when I purchased my tickets, and surely, two audio guides do not justify a price that is more than double the regular ticket price. My recommendation is therefore this: Do not purchase tickets from mytoptour.es – unless you want to pay a very large premium for the ticket and receive an inferior product.
