This has been one of the most stressful and unacceptable experiences I’ve ever had with MyTrip.com.
I booked a ticket from Dhaka to London through MyTrip.com, trusting their website to provide a legitimate and properly arranged journey. While they did mention transit information, they completely failed to clearly state that a visa would be required for the transit country. This critical detail was never properly highlighted or explained, and as a result, I was left with an invalid ticket and serious travel disruption that could have easily been avoided.
Because of their failure, I was forced to book a completely new ticket at an additional cost just to make my journey. This not only caused financial loss but also wasted a significant amount of my time and created unnecessary stress.
The situation became even worse afterward. I have now been chasing my refund for over 14 months. Initially, they acknowledged the issue and promised a partial refund, but I have not received anything at all.
Their customer service is extremely poor and unprofessional. Emails are ignored, responses are delayed or vague, and phone calls involve long waiting times without any resolution. Every time I follow up, I am told that my refund has already been issued and that I will receive it soon—but this has been repeated for over a year with no actual payment made.
This is completely unacceptable. It shows a serious lack of accountability and reliability. Being misled during booking is bad enough, but failing to clearly inform customers about transit visa requirements—and then forcing them into extra costs while stringing them along with false refund promises for over a year—is far worse.
I strongly advise everyone to stay away from MyTrip.com. Based on my experience, this website cannot be trusted.
