@MyTrip Support Team,

I am writing to follow up on my refund request for the cancelled flight under booking reference 1100-240-198.

The flight from Karachi to Abu Dhabi and Abu Dhabi to Riyadh (1 March 2026) was cancelled by the airline (Etihad Airways). I have already been informed that, since the booking was made through your agency, the refund must be processed by MyTrip.

As the flight was cancelled by the airline, I am fully eligible for a complete refund.

I kindly request you to:

Confirm that the refund process has been initiated

Provide a clear timeline for when the amount will be returned to my original form of payment (debit card)

Confirm the exact refund amount

Please note that if I do not receive an update within the next few days, I will be left with no option but to initiate a dispute/chargeback with my bank for a service not provided.

I would appreciate your urgent response and prompt resolution of this matter.

Mytrip.com is probably has the worst customer service and refund department i have ever had.

We have to cancelled the flight because my father in law got sick and passed away

It has been more than 2 months since i cancel my flight of 5 people from jakarta - shanghai & shanghai - jakarta. And they said can not identify if the airline already refund the money to them. But the china eastern airline said they already did refund the money to them and i need to check with mytrip.com

2 of mytrip.com's customers service agents said they already receive the money on feb 22, 2026. But later i called other, the other customer service reps said they can not get any information about the refund from the airline. This is soooo frustrating.

I ask them to call the airline to confirm it but for more than 2 months they said what they did just email the airline and got reply in return. For more than 2 months doing the same things 😭.

I have lost for words on how this company refund department works. Please get better on your service, or you gonna lose lots of customers

The absolute worst site ever! My experience was horrible- long story short passenger could not board flight from Lusaka to Ndola ( domestic flight) due to the airline confirming that they were on the passenger manifesto but due to the fact that Mytrip had not paid out the funds to Air Zambia they were not permitted to fly a refund was immediately requested for but it has been 3 weeks no correspondence from them- the only thing they do is to keep you on hold over the phone and connecting you to different agents! FRADULENT COMPANY !!!!!!

I was skeptical at first given the low reviews but I had exactly zero issues with booking a round-trip ticket from Vietnam to India. My purchase was confirmed within a few hours and I was giveth check in info and updates on the flights throughout the booking and trip. I never needed to contact service as there were changes or cancelations for myself so I can't give that aspect of the company a review. But I had a very smooth booking and will use in the future if the opportunity presents itself.

They are scammers. I wanted to change my flight, requested it twice via theier chat and they ignored it each time. They made me lost 237 euros. My advice: choose another platform even it's slightly more expensive

Fair enough I made a stupid typo on my name, it happens. I requested the name change before 24 hours of my departure time, as specified on Mytrip website, expecting they can offer some kind of solutions. Then I had the most terrifying experience with their customer service. I kept specifying that my request is not a name change anymore, as the airline doesn’t even have my passport info. To the airline, it will be like changing the name and passport number together which is not permitted. I need mytrip to submit my passport info to the airline, then I can request the name change with the airline. It is one thing that the agent is completely unhelpful despite me contacting 24 hours prior, and it is another thing when the agent just wanted to fob me off and lied he did something when he didn’t.
1. He replied slowly, and I had to wait 3-4 minutes for his reply. The irritating thing is, as soon as he replied, he also added a message to say “if no reply in 3 minutes, I will close this chat”. This looks increasingly like he is just trying to fob me off and getting rid of me, instead of looking into my issues more in details.
2. When I realise my conversation with him is not going anywhere, I asked for escalation and he refused to escalate for me.
3. After I used really professional terms that are provided by the airline (it is a BSP ticket but DOCS is missing), he said (I quote) “we need to add command on GDS to send auth to the airline which he already did. It may take some time to update the airline side.” But when I contacted Mytrip the next day, his colleague said they didn’t send anything to the airline.
4. I also requested the chat to be sent to my email at the end, but it wasn’t sent to me until I contacted them again the next day.
5. He also ended the conversation without checking with me if that is everything I needed, which I don’t believe aligns with the protocol.

I am very disappointed as the customer service nowadays is no different from robots really. Changing a typo in the name should have been easy as I am sure it is an easy mistake to make, especially with bookings made on mobile phones. Yet Mytrip is completely lack of protocol to help their customers (they can only help if you spot it 5-7 working days before, yay) and their customer service cannot give a human-like solution.

Actually robots may be better as robots don’t lie.

Just make sure everything is correct with your bookings as once something goes wrong, no one can help you. This seems to be the case with a lot of things in adults life now.

MYTrip has been processing a refund for cancelled flight for over a year now. It is impossible to get your money back. They have confirmed 4 months ago that they have received the refund back from the airline, and since then I spoke with them 10+ times. Still have not received the refund - each time you speak with them they advise that this will be with me in the next business day. Nobody knows anything and staff take no accountability for their actions (multiple people have emailed me to confirm in writing when the funds will be returned to my account and it didn't happen). Honestly avoid - saving few ££ on a transfer booking with them was absolutely not worth it.

This number could not be used to check in online on Norwegians website and didnt exist. Money gone, travel plans destroyed.

I am writing this out of pure desperation. My flight is this Monday, February 16, and I am about to lose all my life savings. This is the first time I have ever flown, a dream I have worked and saved for during years.
​Due to a delay in my transit visa (a situation out of my control), I cannot board on Monday. I have tried to contact MyTrip multiple times via phone and app, but nobody is helping me. Their app doesn't provide options to manage my flight, and the agents keep giving me the runaround.
​I am not asking for a refund. I am begging for empathy to CHANGE THE DATE of my flight. I am willing to pay the fare difference, but I need MyTrip to act as my agency and contact Air Canada/WestJet to save my trip.
​Please, do not let a first-time traveler lose everything. I need a supervisor to contact me IMMEDIATELY to resolve booking .
