Professional scam hiding behind multiple names – Avoid MyTrip/Gotogate!
I have tried booking with MyTrip twice, and both times it resulted in what I can only describe as a professional "bait-and-switch" trap. They lure you in with a price, take the money from your account, and the moment the payment is processed, the website claims the ticket is "no longer available." Meanwhile, the flight clearly has plenty of seats left, but MyTrip immediately relists the same ticket at a drastically higher price.
It is heartbreaking and exhausting to go through the effort of booking, only to be deceived at the last second. What is even more frustrating is how they’ve manipulated their online presence. On Skyscanner, they maintain a high rating because you can’t leave a review without a confirmed ticket. On Google, they hide behind their parent company "Gotogate" to avoid direct accountability.
This is a faceless, heartless company that operates in a legal grey area to scam honest travelers. They bend the rules to legally rip people off while hiding behind different brand names. It is unfair, dishonest, and a complete lack of ethics. Save your money, your time, and your mental health: book directly with the airline.
