The fault was misdiagnosed (we eventually had to call in a third-party engineer), and we were told by the service that the fridge was beyond repair. They subcontract their work, which means when issues arise, they take no responsibility, leaving you to deal with the subcontractor for a response. We were promised a refund within 3 to 5 days, but when it didn't arrive, we had to follow up—10 days later. I'm fairly certain that if we hadn't checked and pursued it, the refund wouldn't have happened. Communication from the subcontractor was terrible. The takeaway is that trying to save on the call-out fee is not worth the trouble with this service and their subcontractors.
