I told NAC before booking that my washer dryer had failed drum bearings. They still sent an engineer.
He took £98.40 upfront, spent about 10 minutes looking at the machine, confirmed the bearings were gone and said it was repairable.
Hours later, NAC emailed to say drum bearing repairs are “beyond economical repair”, excluded from their service, and I should replace the appliance.
So I paid nearly £100 to be told what I already knew - no repair, no quote, no work.
When I complained, NAC refused any refund at all, hiding behind terms and conditions while ignoring the fact their own engineer contradicted them.
If you already suspect what’s wrong with your appliance, do not use this company. You risk paying a premium call-out fee just to be told to throw your machine away - and they’ll keep every penny.
