This is clearly the poorest customer service I have ever experienced. I booked an engineer for leaking water supply to our water dispenser (fridge). The leak was visible from the outside, clear case: new hose was needed.
The engineer walked into our house, demanded payment of £97 first before he even step into the kitchen, apparently company policy. He stayed just about for 10min, "assessed" the issue. Basically, he just took a pic of the fridge model.
I asked him questions about the repair, what is needed, would he fixed it right away, as the case was clear: the pipe was leaking.
He didn't explain anything, just said he got everything he needed, I would get an email from the company about next steps.
Next day, I got an email claiming that I need to replace the whole fridge door!
Of course it's impossible to get through to anybody at the company, so I complaint via their chatbot.
I found the behavior of the engineer unaccetable. If there was such an major issue with the fridge door, he should have discussed it with me rightaway!
Chatbot assured me they would be in touch withing a day. Never heard of them since.
Complaint in writing few weeks later, demanded my money back as they didn't fix anything and the engineer visit took just 10min, I received an answer that they will be in touch shortly. Again, never heard of them back.
This company is clearly a scum! They collect their standard fee £97 at your door and that's for them the job done.
