Great ice cream shop (and it’s also restaurant although I’ve not tried that) in Largs. Two branches, one near the pier and one at the other end of the sea front, on the corner of Nelson Street. Both branches have been there, (forever!) since I was a child and have a great selection of flavoured ice cream. I had an iced coffee and vanilla ice cream this time and it was great as always. The queue was quite long on my visit (to the Nelson Street corner branch) as it’s a popular place and well known, but moved reasonably quickly as three staff were on the counter. If I could make a suggestion it would be to have todays flavours (and prices) displayed where those at the side who are queuing could see in advance and therefore have their minds made up prior, in order to save time when it’s their turn to be served! And advice that cash or card is accepted displayed so customers can be ready with that too. I look forward to my next visit :-)
