Tonight I got an email (from a dubious-looking email address - which turned out to be genuine after all) from Allwyn saying "you've only gone and won a prize" (which made it sound a bit suspicious like a spam email), and when I logged on to my account to check, it took me 7 minutes to find the message and locate the winning ticket. Even when it showed the ticket the winning number wasn't flashed up or starred so I didn't know at first what I'd won on. Hardly exciting graphics. I used to work in a Japanese bank in the 1990s where the only technology we had was a telex machine and a square box-shaped computer that had to be physically thumped on the top when the screen blanked out and it kind of takes me back there. Did they buy the old equipment from Fuji Bank? Also when you're buying tickets it automatically adds you in for Sat and Wed so if you only want to play for saturday you have to keep unchecking weds box. Not a huge problem but a consistently annoying one. I do online tickets because I'm disabled and can't physically get to the shops so I suppose "I've only gone and got stuck with it". But next year I might be a millionaire so ile stick with them...
