I was defrauded by KnG Convenience in stroud by the daughter of the director. The national lottery favours retailers who steal from customers over the customers that move the scratch cards off the shelf. You could spend 50k on scratch cards and a retailer then helps themselves to one and cashes it in and they would side with the retailer over the matter. After speaking to the lottery, they do not cooperate with the police to help victims of retailer fraud. I am not sure why the have a retailer fraud department other than for show and to give the impression of fairness. I have tried to talk to them about improving the quality of their service but it turns out that exploitation at every level with very little else. Rinse and repeat is the business model camelot created and allwyn now follow. They tell you to go to the police but they wont share information with them as people who claim prizes over 50k are granted anonymity, even though they aren't anonymous because you were there when the retailer stole from you. I guess they just want victims to end their lives as its cheaper than sharing information or putting things right. Which is awful. I have had a really bad experience with this company and the people they are protecting. People who would have stolen from their kids if they thought they could have gotten away with it. They say they wont act unless the police say so. But they give the police incorrect information or information that will lead to a conclusion the lottery desire. It essentially traps you into being pushed around by various organisations like CEDR who seem to work to the interests of the lottery over anyone who fallen victim to the system in place and comes to them with an issue.
