Review Time
Having worked as a primary tutor with the NLG for two years now, I have had support from most team members within the many departments. Allocations, tutor support, finance and the tech team have all been amazing at not only providing support in a timely manner, but are also forthcoming with their recognition and praise when they feel it has been earned. Many thanks to a great team who work so hard to support tutors in creating a positive learning experience for all of our students and their families.
My daughter (11) is tutored by Lynn Golding and it has been obvious how comfortable she is with Lynn and how she has really benefited from coming out her comfort zone with her maths. Lynn is kind, flexible and understanding. I couldn’t pick a better tutor for my daughter.
My daughter has had tutoring with NLG since March as she was getting behind in Maths and English at primary school and wasn't feeling confident going into school. We had to change the initial tutor as we felt there wasn't much of a connection, so I called NLG who were very understanding and they changed our tutor quickly and we now have Toni Wilkinson who is so amazing and glad we made the change. Toni is so friendly and quickly put my daughter at ease by encouraging her and making her feel comfortable in very interactive and well thought out sessions as she is very shy especially when it comes to learning English and Maths. She always looks forward to talking to Toni and learning with her and her confidence has grown going into school too and she is definitely more resilient and keen to keep trying if she makes mistakes and it has made such a big difference at home and at school. Thank you so much!
I would give alot more than 5 stars if I could, Victoria Knapp needs so much more recognition for all her patience and hard work that she has put in to teaching my 11 year old son Alex. He has excelled my expectations in such a short time especially with his reading, all thanks to Victoria. His confidence has grown so much since she started teaching him, she understands his needs so well and adapts the lessons to suit Alex. So a big shout out to an amazing tutor Victoria Knapp
NLG has really helped my 9 year old son progress with his math's and increase his confidence.We have had several tutor's in the last few years and they have all been fantastic especially Victoria Knapp who is our latest tutor. She is always friendly and patient and my son always enjoys his lessons with her.
My daughter felt like she was falling behind in top-set maths, adding to her stress and lowering her confidence. Anab changed all that, leading to improved scores, enjoyment and confidence. What really stood out to me as a parent though was, after the mocks, when I asked if she taught a subject my daughter underperformed at, Anab herself (who doesn't teach the subject) suggested that we pause maths (as I couldn't budget for both) so my daughter can work with another tutor to improve on that subject. That selflessness makes her a paragon of education.
Lynn has been absolutely exceptional!! And I am truly indebted to her how she have brought my son on from a none reader (virtually) to age 5-6!!! Truly amazing her patience and dedication with my son has been lovely to see I have enjoyed just as much as Tomi watching each week grow in confidence highly recommend! Thank you so much. X
